Listen to The xx’s Track “Together” from The Great Gatsby

Are you ready to get in line to see Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby this summer? We sure are!

Lately, there seems to be an endless barrage of trailers being released from Warner Bros., as well as new songs from the original soundtrack, which was produced under the supervision of Jay-Z. The following songs have been leaked so far: Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful”, Jay-Z’s “100$ Bill”, Florence + The Machine’s “Over the Love”, a cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” by Beyoncé and André 3000, and a Bryan Ferry cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love”.

More recently, the track “Together” from the amazing English indie pop band The xx is making the rounds.

While you listen, take a moment and look at this photo of Leo embracing Carey Mulligan. Yes, it’s okay to swoon.

Beginning May 7th, the soundtrack will be available digitally and as a 17-track deluxe edition exclusively at Target. A 14-track physical version will also be available at Starbucks in the U.S. and Canada, and widely, both physically and digitally, at various retailers.

As far as we know, it looks like the film is poised to be a massive hit at the box office, especially considering the visual flair and talent that Luhrmann always brings to the big screen.
