The tale as old as time steps into the modern age as Disney recreates Beauty and the Beast, as a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic. Here’s a first look at Belle, the Beast and the all of your favorite characters in action!

THAT famous ballroom scene! Check out the Beast, played by Dan Stevens, in his full beastly glory as he dances with Belle, played by Emma Watson, who is wearing the iconic yellow ball gown. Doesn’t she look beautiful/terrified!

The old crew is back! There’s Cogsworth, played by Ian McKellen, Lumiere, played by, wait for it… Ewan McGregor, Plumette the feather duster, played by Gugu Mbathat-Raw and the adorable Mrs. Potts, who’s played by Emma Thompson. Can’t wait to see what Maestro Cadenza and Madame Garderobe look like too!

Disney has revealed they will be staying true to the animated classic by including original music, while updating the score with several new songs.

Prepare for some major tear-jerking moments guys, the film is set to be released in March 2017. That’s barely five months away. Let’s hope the time flies!
