Putin states that he is “clearly keen on restoring relations between Russia and the United States.” However, he refuses to take any blame in the current state of Russian-American relations. Spoke Putin yesterday evening: “as I have repeatedly said, it is not our fault that Russian-American relations are in that poor state.”

Though Putin is refusing to take any responsibility for decades worth of cross-cultural awkwardness and the potential of starting a nuclear holocaust, he is excited to loosen tensions between Russia and America. Putin promises that he will “do everything to return the Russian-American relations to a stable and sustainable track.”

Putin’s aide, Sergei Glazyev, took it a step further and describe Hillary Clinton as a symbol of war. He told reporters: “Americans had two choices: World War Three or multilateral peace.”

The Russian President had an awkward relationship with President Obama. The end of the Obama years will signal ‘an end to the problems it caused between the Kremlin and Washington’, spoke his aide Vyacheslav Volodin. Among the tensions between both countries included sanctions imposed by the US and the EU after Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014.

Yikes! At least we can scrap plans for building underground bunkers and obsessing over stockpiling for the time being.
