#9 Israel Keyes
In 2012, police arrested the killer in connection with the death of an 18-year-old barista in Alaska. He was linked to at least 10 more murders. His “usual victim”? None. Keyes was unpredictable when it came to choosing his victims and left no DNA traces for investigators.
He confessed to more murders, including the murder of a Vermont couple, but killed himself in prison before more victims could be identified.
