‘Power Rangers’ Actor Arrested for Stabbing Roommate with a Sword

Detectives are currently investigating a stabbing death of a 36-year-old man in Palmdale, Calif. that occurred on Saturday.

Deputies of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched around 4 p.m. to the home. CBS reports the victim Joshua Sutter was apparently involved in an argument-turned-physical confrontation with his roommate¬†Ricardo Medina, also 36.

Medina, known for portraying the Red Wild Force Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force and later Deker on Power Rangers Samurai, reportedly went to his bedroom with his girlfriend, when Sutter forced the door open. Somehow this led to Medina allegedly stabbing his roommate through the abdomen with a sword he kept beside his bedroom door.

Medina called 911 and paramedics were sent to the scene. After a brief interview with homicide detectives, the actor was arrested on murder charges. He is now being held on $1 million bail at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
