Over the years, Christmas seems to have become such a drag.
Maybe it’s because Christmastime has become increasingly more and more about consumerism instead of cheer.
During the past few weeks, we have observed people scrambling around town trying to find cheap last-minute-gifts for their relatives because they don’t want to show up at the family gathering empty handed. And they aren’t even happy doing it.
Moral of the story: the best Christmas gift isn’t something that’s wrapped and placed beneath a tree.
The true beauty of the holiday season is spending time with friends and loved ones. It’s about reminding them how much we love and cherish them.
This Apple holiday ad pretty much says it all. Simply titled “The Song,” it shows a teenage girl taking the time to allow her grandmother to be reminiscent of the love of her life. She reminds her grandmother what Christmas is all about.
For anyone who has heard their grandparents’ stories of love and loss, this ad will surely bring about strong emotions.
