New ‘Arrested Development’ Photos & Other ‘EW’ Reunion Covers

Arrested Development get cover of Entertainment Weekly

We’re getting pretty dang excited about the new Arrested Development series being produced by Netflix, searching out leaked photos from the set and reading any kind of info we could find about the new episodes. Now that feeling shot into orbit with today’s released images from Entertainment Weekly. Here’s the write up from the EW website:

Arrested DevelopmentThe Bluths are back (well, almost)! With the series returning for at least 10 new episodes that will debut on Netflix run this spring, the cast (who slipped into Renaissance-era costumes for their EW photo shoot) reveal what it was like to work together again. “We all walked onto the set and we just sat around and stared at each other, and it was surreal,” says Portia de Rossi. “Everybody looked exactly the same and they acted exactly the same, both in character and in between takes. Body language was the same, the same old jokes, the same old eye rolls. It was really amazing.”

October 2012 cover Entertainment Weekly Arrested DevelopmentThis is all a part of the magazine’s annual “Reunions” issue, which this year sports three different covers– one for Arrested Development, another for Melrose Place (with post-Desperate Housewives stars Marcia Cross and Doug Savant actually in the photo), and the third for the classic pre-Mean Girls teen girl comedy film Clueless. And while we don’t normally get into buying multiple copies of the same issue simply for the varying covers, those are three pretty amazing casts to gather. Fortunately, the articles and interviews in each issue will be the same, so if money is tight you can pick your favorite and still get all the fun info.
