James Bond will be swapping the luxury of his favorite Aston Martin for a Fiat 500, according to recent reports surrounding the unnamed upcoming Bond film. Due to be shot in the Spring of next year, Bond will take to the streets of Rome in a high-speed chase during which he will reportedly drive the Fiat. The Italian-made vehicle will allegedly be crushed near the Vatican, according to Sky News.
Agent 007 famously drove the luxury car Aston Martin DB5 in previous Bond films. However, that particular car was destroyed during the plot of Skyfall, the most recent film in the franchise. The Fiat will apparently be a part of one of several key action chase scenes to be shot in Rome, probably in February and March. Italian media reports that at least one vehicle will end up in the Tibur River.
The iconic secret agent will again be portrayed by Daniel Craig—making this his fourth film in the role. Craig has also appeared in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall.
