The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise gets a whole lot of flak for creating relationships that rarely ever last. For a long time the show only had one couple, Trista and Ryan Sutter, from one of its early seasons that stood the test of time.
But although the success rate of such couples coming out of the show is still slim at best, it is slowly, slowly crawling up. From Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum to Molly and Jason Mesnick (although that one is tricky since Jason originally picked Melissa Rycroft but ended up with Molly shortly after the finale) the show is redeeming itself with at least a few relationships that are sticking together for the long run.
Now Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have joined the list of those who have officially tied to knot. On Sunday night the happy couple walked down the aisle during a ceremony that was broadcast live for all the fans to take part in. Also taking part in the festivities were former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants including Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried who were there as a couple, Jef Holms, Arie Luyendyk jr, as well as Sean’s former Dancing with the Starts contestants Lisa Vanderpump and Andy Dick.
If you weren’t able to watch the ceremony, which by the way was officiated by Sean’s dad, you can check out all the sweet highlights above in the video.
