Barbie Put a Boy in Their Ad for the First Time Ever

Barbie just released a commercial for their newest product, “Moschino Barbie,” a fancy collaboration between the Italian design house Moschino and Barbie.

It isn’t the collaboration that has people talking! For the first time in 56 years, Barbie has branded the face of this specific Barbie with a little boy. He is seen in the advertisement with two of his girl friends, and helps assist one of the Moschino Barbie’s with her handbag.

His charm in the video has people all over the world either loving the brand more or completely freaking out.

On the positive side, some say that “Moschino Barbie Boy” is their hero, while others are congratulating Moschino’s creative director, Jeremy Scott.

He posted the photo of the little boy on his Instagram with the caption:

“SO HAPPY ABOUT ALL THE LOVE AND ATTENTION MY@moschino BARBIE COMMERCIAL IS GETTING. TO ME IT WAS SO NATURAL TO HAVE A BOY PLAYING WITH THE BARBIE AS WELL AS THE GIRLS. I AM THRILLED THAT ITS STARTED A NATIONAL DISCUSSION ABOUT GENDER NEUTRALITY FOR KIDS TOYS. I THINK WE SHOULD LET KIDS PLAY AND BE HAPPY AFTER ALL PLAY IS THE WORK OF CHILDHOOD !#MOSCHINOBARBIE

The photo has since reached over 4,400 likes.
