While creating nature documentaries for PBS, Filmmaker and photographer Samuel Orr spent nearly two years living in a house at the edge of the woods in Indiana. The footage he captured was breathtaking.
The stunning time lapse video featured above, which depicts a year of sights and sounds from the forest, was compiled from 40,000 still photographs. Orr’s camera was on a fixed tripod that looked out a window and was set to automatically snap one photo per minute.
Watching this forest time lapse really gives you perspective into the life of Mother Nature and the constant changes that take place all around us, all the time.
