Beyoncé Is First Guest on Anderson Cooper’s Season 2 Premiere

Is buttoned-up Anderson Cooper ready for that jelly?

It’s a question being asked by fans of both Cooper and Beyoncé Knowles. The former Destiny’s Child and recent hot mamma is scheduled to be Cooper’s first guest on the new season of Anderson Live, and to promote the event the producers released a short video featuring the two. The hour-long daily syndicated talk show, formerly named Anderson, premieres September 10th and brings with it a couple changes beyond the title. The new season will introduce an additional rotating host, a new live format, and a new location at the CBS Broadcast Center on the stage formerly occupied by The Nate Berkus Show.

Appearing as the show’s first co-host to interview Knowles is Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth. Other co-hosts scheduled for this season include Goldie Hawn, Cyndi Lauper, Howie Mandel, Kelly Osbourne, D.L. Hughley, and Kellie Pickler. Other guests have also been announced, including such A-list names as Richard Gere, Jake Gyllenhaal, Claire Danes, Ben Affleck, Kelsey Grammer, Carol Burnett and Stephen Colbert.

But what people are really talking about this week is the new promo, where Knowles promises to teach Cooper to dance. She also asks the notoriously giggly host if he’s going to laugh a lot during their live taping. Check out the promo and let us know if you’re excited to check out the new season.
