Bobby Brown Issues Statement About Bobbi Kristina Health

Bobbi Kristina Latest Update: For those who missed it, Bobby Brown released a statement through his lawyer this weekend about the health of his daughter. We have two reports, one from E! posted above, and one from Entertainment Tonight below. They both offer additional information that help round out the story.

The press release evidently started after Brown’s sister Leolah Brown accused Pat Houston of pushing to let Bobbi Kristina die because her medical expenses were extreme. According to TMZ, Brown was indignant with her for making the statement on Facebook, and denies that this happened.

Additionally, Brown made it clear (via his lawyer) that they were not bringing home Bobbi Kristina to die.

Brown said through a statement to ABC news:

I am making decisions with [Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law] Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter. Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina’s medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter’s injuries needs to be brought to justice.

This is the first time he has publicly spoken about someone possibly having a hand in her injuries.

The incident involving Bobbi Kristina Brown happened five months ago. After spending several weeks in the hospital, she was moved to a rehabilitation facility. Whitney Houston’s mother, and Bobbi Kristina’s maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, said the 22-year-old girl had “irreversible brain damage” and “remains unresponsive.”
