Body language is everything.

From the way a person talks, sits, and interacts by way of their physical appearance often times speaks louder than words. When it comes to face to face interactions, body language is one of the first impressions you will ever give of yourself.

It’s important to be mindful of what our body might be portraying to the world around us and the messages we are sending out into the world and to ourselves.

Social psychologist Amy Cuddy explains how “power posing” — standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident — can affect testosterone and cortisol levels in the brain, and might even have an impact on our chances for success.
