Britney Spears’ abs have been a topic of conversation for years: when she had them, when she sexed them up, when she went a little crazy and lost them, and the lingering questions of where they’ve been hiding for the past couple years.
After some months performing her show in Las Vegas, it looks like they’re back — at least on the new cover of Women’s Health magazine. The pop princess is seen flaunting a fab figure while wearing an orange and black bikini, and she looks happier than ever. Spears Instagrammed the photo on Monday, saying, “Thank you so much @womenshealthmag for featuring me in your new issue! It’s on stands this week!”
So what’s the big reveal readers learn in the new issue of Women’s Health? That the mother-of-two’s body has changed.
“After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape,” she says. “But five years later, I started noticing changes in my body. My hips are a little bit wider because I’ve had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise.”
No surprise, the 33-year-old enjoys dancing for her cardio, as well as taking Totally Drenched classes and swimming. She supplements that workout by cross-training with light weights, yoga and more — allegedly, without the help of a personal trainer.
“Daily exercise is important for me both mentally and physically,” she continues. “I don’t mind working out. Trainers keep you motivated, but I didn’t have a problem being motivated.”
