As if Rihanna and Jay-Z don’t have enough on their plate, they both have gone to the next level with their newest deal.
Today, Budweiser announced their global campaign, Made for Music, in 85 different countries featuring the two popular artists. After the successful Budweiser Made in America festival in Philadelphia, the brand was motivated to do a similar campaign.
Budweiser, an American-style lager brewed in 17 countries, was introduced in 1876 by the company founder, Adolphus Busch.
The brand decided to incorporate music in their promoting, including limited-edition packages, exclusive music on BudweiserMusic.com, two new 30-second TV spots and sponsorships of Rihanna and Jay-Z concerts worldwide.
“Music truly is a universal language and Budweiser is proud to work with and support the great artists who inspire millions of people across the globe with their talent, dedication, and drive to achieve their dreams,” said Camilo Durana, Global Director, Budweiser Sports and Entertainment.
Budweiser plans to spread live music with over 160 events in 25 countries. This will include Jay-Z concerts, Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour and the Budweiser Made in America festival which will be held on August 31 and September 1, 2013 in Philadelphia.
“Budweiser Made for Music is a tribute to those who continue to put their energy and passion everyday in the pursuit of their dreams,” said Ricardo Marques, Global Advertising Director Budweiser. “JAY Z and Rihanna represent these values and are therefore an incredible source of inspiration to us all”
