Does that jingle sounds familiar? Well, it is most recognized as the iconic theme song of a coffee company, only we added a little twist.
Marijuana lovers everywhere are rejoicing over the new very convenient way to get their weed fix. Cannabis k-cups are now an actual thing. While there are many ways to get high without actually smoking, coffee pods are the latest way to integrate marijuana into the everyday habit of drinking coffee. The coffee filled pods have 10 milligrams of THC and are sold for $10 each.
Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop in Seattle sells the pods and says that these special little cups of coffee account for 60 percent of their sales. Fairwinds Manufacturing, House of Jane and Ed Rosenthal’s Select Coffee & Tea are just a few of the companies making coffee infused with marijuana.
The legal marijuana industry is growing and according to the Huffington Post brought in $2.4 billion just last year. As more states legalize the plant, more common foods and spices are being made with weed for customers. People can now buy tons of THC infused foods including: gummy bears, candies, granola bars, olive oil, honey, barbeque sauce, butter, lemonade, muffins, peanuts, ice cream, pretzels… the list goes on and on.
