A teacher in at a Georgia preschool has resigned after shocking surveillance camera footage was released that showed her knock down a special needs student with her knee. Amelia Strippling worked at Tift County Pre-K Center, resigned after 20 years of teaching.
The force of Strippling’s knee connecting with the child’s back knocked the child forcefully to the ground in the school hallway.
According to reports, the four-year-old boy’s family has obtained a lawyer, and they have reported the incident to child services.
The child was not injured in the incident.
Apparently, in 2014 Strippling was given an Excellence in Teach Award from the school district.
