Come September, an antique car-lover’s pandora’s box will officially open. Imagine choosing from over 500 “brand new” 1950’s and 60’s Chevys with less than 10 miles on the odometer—all for liquidation through the VanDerBrink Auctions.
Ray and Mildred Lambrecht, now in their 90s spent their lives selling Chevrolets in their small mid-western town of Pierce, Nebraska until 17 years ago when they chose to close up shop.
The Lambrecht Chevrolet Company opened in 1946, when cars sold for around $600 to $800. Since the dealership’s closing, much of the stock has been stored on the family farm. From Chevelles, to Chevy Cameo pickups, and Impalas, this is an opportunity of a lifetime for American car collectors.
