The SEMA Show in Las Vegas is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. As such, Chevy took the opportunity to unveil new Chevy Concept Cars 2014, specifically for the SS sedan, Corvette and Camaro. Here are some highlights:
The above image shows the The Garage Performance Camaro concepts — V6 (left), and the V8 (right).
Regarding the SS sedan concept, NASCAR great Jeff Gordon gave his input for the design. Fiery red paint, 20-inch custom wheels, high-performance brakes and a Borla exhaust.
The special-edition Corvette Stingray “Gran Turismo” was created to commemorate the game’s 15th anniversary. The engine was left alone to focus on sexy exterior changes.
For the Corvette Stingray Convertible Atlantic Concept, it was a battle between East versus West. Both mostly focus on cosmetic differences.
The Performance Garage Camaro Concept had a few choice parts from the Z/28 and ZL1, including the brakes and short-throw shifter, “shorty” headers and a 2.75-inch exhaust.
Finally, with the Camaro Spring Special Edition, Chevy’s muscle car selection will join its concept pickup trucks and hatches at SEMA in Las Vegas from November 5-8.
