In a not-too-well-thought-out plan to evade police, a 29-year-old drug dealer named Bryan Duffy attempted to blend in with runners during the Chicago Marathon on Sunday.
When police officers approached him on State Street, he immediately hurled himself into a stream of steady runners nearby — hoping to fit in.
According to WLS-TV, police were able to catch up with Duffy, and found 10 MDMA pills in an Altoids box stashed in his pocket.
He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, reckless conduct (you know, for putting marathon runners in danger) and resisting arrest.
Hopefully, one of his buddies has a cash stash somewhere from all their deals, as it’ll cost $10,000 to bail him out.
