It’s decided: For our next vacation we’re booking a ticket to Lisabon and visiting the lpsylon restaurant where chef Joaquim Sousa is serving up a dessert that’s a treat in every way.

His “dessert du jour” comes with a wonderful presentation that’s as wonderful to watch as it is to taste. The delicious sweet starts off as a ball, but once he pours hot cream around it, the delicate ingredients at the bottom dissolve and the chocolate “peels” fall off, mimicking the look of a flower blooming.
