Cha-Ching! Cities with the Most Gold Diggers

According to a recent poll of 5,000 U.S. women, 65 percent between the ages of 31-45 say they would never date a married man — unless he’s wealthy.

This particular statistic led the organization to research which cities in the U.S. are more prone to gold diggers willing to break up a marriage. The findings were quite shocking. For example, women in Phoenix, Ariz. admitted they were 132 percent more willing to have an affair with a married wealthy man.

“Studies have shown that women cheat for emotional reasons,” says Brandon Wade, Founder and CEO of “Our survey reveals that there is an emotional attachment to both wealth and generosity. In fact, most women value this dynamic more than a relationship status.”

It should be noted that SeekingArrangements is a dating website for wealthy older men and women who seek “Sugar Babies.” The site calls them “Mutually Beneficial Arrangements,” meaning that the Sugar Daddy or Mommy financially provide for the Sugar Baby in exchange for a short-term casual relationship. So, needless to say, they have an interest in pointing out where gold diggers live.

The poll also named the three top “Safe Zones” for women with wealthy husbands; that is, cities where women are less likely to try and hunt down a wealthy hubby. These include¬†Hartford, Conn., Lansing, Mich., and Boston, Mass.

We’re not sure what it means about those cities, but it’s good to know.
