Cleveland Kidnap Victims Say Thanks

Three women allegedly held captive for nearly a decade by a Cleveland, Ohio man, have broken their silence in a three-minute video, dedicated to thanking the public for its support.

Released on Monday in a YouTube video, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight said they were trying to rebuild their lives, with one woman adding that she’d been to hell and back, but didn’t choose to be bitter.

Former school bus driver Ariel Castro faces 329 counts of rape, kidnapping and other charges.
