See How This Brilliant Family Lives on a Floating, Self-Sustaining Farm

Wayne Adams and Catherine King of Canada chose to make a mega change in 1992. The artists decided to move off the grid and create a floating paradise for their soon-to-be family.

To accomplish this, they created an eco-friendly and self-sustaining floating palace and farm.

They named it “Freedom Cove.” which is made of 12 platforms that are connected by metal and wood planks. They have successfully developed crops within greenhouses. All plants, fruits and veggies are fueled by the fresh water beneath them. Electricity is pulled in via solar panels.

Check out the above photos to see what they’ve created!
