What happens when you live on a dairy farm and your parents refuse to buy you a horse? Well, if you’re anything like Regina Mayer, you train a cow how to act like one.
Folks, meet Luna! She’s a very special animal. When Mayer’s parents wouldn’t let her own a horse on their dairy farm in Laufen, Germany, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
Luna was taught how to act like a horse while she was still a calf, and now can gallop and even jump over hurdles with the teenager saddled up on her back. She is capable of understanding commands such as “stand,” “gallop” and “go.”
Is this what you’d call a true cowgirl?
