Daft Punk Launches A Line Of What?

daft punk condoms 1.Just when you thought blatant music marketing couldn’t get more over-the-top than Jay Z claiming to not to be a “business man”, but a “business, man”, Daft Punk has teamed up with Durex to make a “Get Lucky” brand of prophylactics.

Based on the breakout single from their new album Random Access Memories, the new rubbers will come packaged with the silhouette of the Daft Punk, Pharrel, and Nile Rodgers playing in front of glowing sunset–just like the album cover.

So far, the condoms have not been released to the public.

Durex has been sending out samples to DJs, and Diplo responded by posting a photo to Instagram with the caption, “Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night.”

If this marketing trick isn’t enough to scare you, the band is set to release action figures of themselves come December.
