Trejo has quite a colorful criminal record, which includes selling a drug dealer four ounces of heroin worth $30,000 that turned out to only be bags of sugar. Unfortunately, he sold it to an undercover federal agent.
It was in prison that he acquired his world-famous body art.
But after getting out of jail in August of 1969, he never went back in.
