The above video was posted last year, but it’s been getting a lot of attention again so we thought we’d post it here once more. It depicts the controlled destruction of a building, the Wellington Hotel Annex in Albany, New York. It’s surprisingly entertaining to watch the whole thing come crashing to the ground in a huge plume of smoke — like watching big, colorful explosions in blockbuster movies — but what comes beforehand is even better.
These demolition experts clearly have an eye for spectacle, as they set up a series of smaller explosions to go off before the big one, all of them blasting off in colorful streaks of red and blue.
