Business man and real estate mogul Donald Trump is running for president. He announced his campaign starts today as he tries to win the majority vote of the people and take over the Oval Office.
The question is though, how will he compare to his competitors? Well, his campaign slogan says exactly what his vision is for the USA: “Make America Great Again.”
The announcement came from the Trump Tower in New York City where he boasted about his plan to lower unemployment rates.
According to E!, he explained in a press release why he thinks he is the next president. “I have a great love for our country, but it is a country that is in serious trouble. We have lost the respect of the entire world. Americans deserve better than what they get from their politicians — who are all talk and no action,” Trump said. “I have built a great company, created thousands of jobs and built a tremendous net worth with some of the finest and most prestigious assets in the world — and very little debt! All Americans deserve the same opportunity.”
It is no surprise that Mr. Trump is more than a little competitive, after all he is the star of a competitive TV reality series. He dished out a little cockiness to infuse some friendly competition into the presidential elections.
He has flaunted his money and the success of his businesses in more than a few ways. According to CNN he believes he there is no other candidate to look at when it comes to voting, saying that he is the “most successful person ever to run for the presidency by far.”
Trump’s net-worth reaches as high as $9 billion, so we can imagine that he will have the most lavish of all campaigns and that he will go to any length to take the presidency.
Aside from Donald Trump Hilary Clinton is running for the Democrat side and Jed Bush for the Republicans.
