Driver’s Edge Program Teaches Teen Drivers to Avoid Crashes

In an effort to address the increasingly high number of youth-related crashes and fatalities each year, Jeff Payne founded a non-profit organization and public charity called Driver’s Edge.

Driver’s Edge is a free program committed to teaching drivers ages 21 and younger (who haveĀ a valid license or permit) how to avoid collisions by being aware, learning how to expect the unexpected and remembering not to panic.

The program does what traditional driver’s education doesn’t; it teachesĀ driver safety, as well as real life emergency avoidance and response techniques.
