Murder Suspect Arrested After Cops Find Him Trying to Extinguish a Fire with Beer

A murder suspect almost got away from the law but unwittingly led authorities straight to him after accidentally starting a brush fire and trying to extinguish it using beer.

James Douglas Talley was wanted for the shooting death of a man that occurred on Sunday. After the murder the 52-year-old tried to hide from the cops and was seeking shelter in the woods where he started a fire to stay warm. But when the fire got out of control, deputies in Gordon County, Georgia spotted the fire and found their man next to it, trying to put it out with a can of beer.
