Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield Trick Paparazzi to Help Kids & Cancer Charities

Here one’s way to not only get even with the paparazzi but also do good in the process.

Spider-Man stars (and celebrity couple) Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone used a group of photographers waiting outside their New York City lunch spot on Saturday to help raise awareness for charity. As the paparazzi descended on the duo, they didn’t run, block the cameras or yell obscenities. Instead, they held up handmade signs in front of their faces advocating for Gilda’s Club, which supports people living with cancer, and Worldwide Orphans Foundation, which provides health care, mentoring and education to orphaned children.

The signs, when read together, said this:

“We just found out that there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So…why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? www.wwo.org www.gildasclubnyc.org. Have a great day!”
