Dancing with the Stars just announced the win for the wild card slot for the show’s upcoming season.
Sabrina Bryan, who was up against Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey, won the viewer’s choice vote and will dance alongside Louis van Amstel, as the 13th contestant on the show.
The show recently announced the all-star pairings for the 15th season but left one slot open for the viewers to vote on.
Bryan told Good Morning America earlier today “I am so excited. I’m getting teary eyed just right now. It was a fight…we all three really wanted it. I’m the lucky one with some amazing, incredible fans that have really stuck behind me.”
As for Van Amstel, who has yet to win the Coveted Mirror ball Trophy, he is excited about the partnership, saying “This is the first season I can knock myself out as a dancer, as a choreographer because she’s so good. From day one, we are going to knock even our own socks off.”
Bryan was a contestant in season 6 of the show with Mark Ballas as her dancing partner, and got a surprising elimination in the sixth week after scoring a perfect 30 two weeks prior.
This season Ballas is paired up with controversial DWTS vet Bristol Palin and will go up against Bryan and Van Amstel.
The show will return with a two-hour season premiere Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
