Fashion Website Atelier Delphine Makes the “Lazy Look” Hot!

Here at FTK, we love hearing about new fashion websites, and this one (referred to us from Daily Candy) had us sold from our first peek at the Look Book images.

Atelier Delphine features “romantic loungewear for the modern woman,” according to designer Yuka Izutsu who founded the site in March 2011. The inspiration behind her designs are meant to serve as a sanctuary from the fashion trends that disappear after a month or two of being in the limelight. (Does anyone remember the hair feather trend that dominated much of 2011 and early 2012? Thank gosh that’s over!)

In our humble opinion, Izutsu’s look is very Banana Republic meets Calvin Klein–effortlessly elegent, yet comfortably causal with a strong nautical theme running throughout her designs. Her meticulous attention to detail makes each piece comfortable to wear on the weekend and to the beach. Below are two of our favorite looks that are easily transitional from street to beachwear. Find yours and check out the new arrivals at her website.
