Fifty Shades of Grey Finally Gets Release Date

Looks like next summer is going to be the hottest yet.

The book phenomenon everyone has been talking about (or secretly thinking about) finally has a box office date: August 1, 2014.

The film adaptation of the erotic bestseller will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and Michael De Luca (“Moneyball”) and Dana Brunetti (“The Social Network”) will be producing it.

For those few who haven’t picked up E.L. James’ Fifty Shades trilogy, the steamy novels follow the relationship of 27 year-old billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele.

Although multiple different rumors have circled regarding who will be honored with the role of Christian Grey (Robert Pattinson, Ryan Gosling, Ian Somerhalder), none of them have officially been given the title.

What actor do you think will be given the leading role based on your imagined reenactment of the trilogy?
