This Sexy Trilogy Just Got a Sequel

The Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James took to Instagram this morning to announce that there is more to the naughty trilogy.

The original books three books Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are told from the main character, Anastasia Steele’s perspective. However, the latest addition Grey will be told by Christian Grey the hunky domineering billionaire that steals Anastasia’s heart.

The raunchy books that hold the sexual desires of women everywhere have sold over 125 million copies around the world. The first movie which came out this year has made over $500 million worldwide. And with the next two books being released in film in 2017 and 2018, the buzz around Fifty Shades of Grey is not ending anytime soon.

Luckily for the millions of Fifty Shades fans Grey will be released by Vintage Books June 18th of this year, on Christian Grey’s birthday, what a way to celebrate.

In a news release from USA Today the author talked about the complexity behind Christian Grey and why it took her so long to release the novel her fans have been asking for.
“Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place — writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage.”
