There are few things more powerful in this world than the love of a mother for her children. This is why one mom, Debby Elnatan, decided to make a device that would allow for her son Rotem to feel like a “normal” kid for once.
Rotem, 7, has cerebral palsy and has been forced to sit on the sidelines watching his family members and friends have all the fun on their feet. One day Elnatan decided to do something proactive — “out of my pain and desperation,” she admits.
She developed the Firefly Upsee that allows for children with disabilities to walk along with an adult. If a picture is worth a thousand words, the following one reveals the joy that children experience with the help of the innovation:
