Oprah Winfrey got fans all teased up today on Twitter.
The former talk show queen and current network owner (and producer, and magazine publisher, and demigod) tweeted a first look at Jane Fonda as former first lady Nancy Reagan and Alan Rickman as former President Ronald Reagan in The Butler. Winfrey sent the photo–which also featured director Les Daniels– from the set of The Butler, which is currently filming on location in New Orleans.
According to The Advocate, director Daniels “adapted the screenplay with Danny Strong from a Washington Post story about Eugene Allen (Forest Whitaker), the White House butler whose career started in 1952 with Harry Truman and ended 34 years later with Reagan.”
The film’s all-star cast also includes Cuba Gooding Jr. (who allegedly got into a bar fight while in the city), Mariah Carey, John Cusack, James Marsden, Liam Neeson, Liev Schreiber, and Robin Williams. Also seen in another twit pic was Lenny Kravitz. With the photo, Winfrey wrote, “Lenny Kravitz and me (both aged) getting ready for our 80’s White House scene”.
