Marijuana Commercial Makes Us Rethink Our Sushi Choices

Is the tide turning for cannabis? It might be.

These Beverly Hills moms are mixing marijuana with parenting (getting high while making dinner), these 13 celebrities can’t quit it (neither can Lady Gaga) and cannabis-infused recipes are lighting up all over the place.

It’s been nearly two decades since California first legalized the ganja back in 1996.

Today, there are 20 states and Washington, D.C. that have legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes.

MarijuanaDoctors.com, a company that connects folks looking for marijuana with doctors who provide prescriptions, recently launched a commercial that showed a shady street dealer trying to sell you some sushi out of his jacket pockets.

“You wouldn’t buy your sushi from this guy,” the voiceover says. “So why would you buy your marijuana from him?”

The spot allegedly began running in New Jersey by Comcast on stations like ESPN, CNN and Fox. Check out the spot explaining the reasoning behind the ad above and the actual commercial below
