Jonathan Nimerfroh, a photographer and surfer mesmerized with oceans recently snapped a few images of the sea waves on the coast of Nantucket, where it is so cold the water has turned into straight-up slush.
Nimerfroh explained the temperature was only 19F the day these images were taken. It was cold enough for ice to form near the shore, so as the waves rolled in they mixed with the ice and turned into something resembling a sea slurpee.
As cool as the visuals are, it also looks like a signal for the end of times if you ask us. What do you think?
Check out the images and let us know.
