Genius Dad Figures Out a Hilarious Way to Keep His 10-Month-Old Occupied

Dads, take note.

If your little one is growing fussy and bored of the same toys and routines, you have to think outside of the box.

Joe Cadayona, who gets our dad-of-the-day award, did just that when he took inspiration from the old carrot and stick trick to keep his 10-month-old busy and entertained. He tied a toy to his daughter’s Pack ‘N Play rod and attached the whole thing to the front of her walker so she couldn’t reach it no matter how long she “chased” after it. The result is hilarious.

Thankfully, Cadayona captured the whole thing on video and put it on YouTube for all the world to see. He explains “This is what happens when my wife leaves me alone with my daughter.”

Watch as the youngster runs, hands outstretched while bumping into furniture and walls, and practices her reverse skills all while staying determined to reach that darn toy.

We love funny parenting moments and this one is sure to put a smile on your face.
