Tommy Lynn Sells was only 14 when he first became addicted to killing. It’s a tendency he blames on the sexual abuse he experienced as a child.
“I like to watch the eyes fade, the pupil fade. It’s just like setting their soul free,” Sells told ABC News. “I don’t have an on-and-off switch. I’m just after that drug. I’m after that feeling.”
He was sent to prison in 1999 for killing countless people across the country. Perhaps he would have continued getting away with murder had one of his young victims not survived.
Krystal Surles is the only known survivor that escaped the clutches of this murdering psychopath.
On April 3, 2014, Sells was executed by lethal injection in Huntsville, Texas. His final statement? He didn’t have one.
In the video above, ABC News conducts an exclusive jailhouse interview with Sells.
