‘Glee’ Releases Songs from New Season

Calling all Gleeks! FOX released five songs from Glee Season 4 during a Facebook listening party this week, and fans seem really excited. Fortunately for you, we found copies of the songs on YouTube. You’re welcome.

Kate Hudson on Glee and New DirectionsThe season premiere, titled “The New Rachel,” has Kate Hudson playing Cassandra July, Rachel’s (Lea Michele) new dance teacher at  NYADA– and she is not impressed with McKinley High’s star singer. Hudson performs a mashup of Jennifer Lopez’s “Dance Again” with Lady Gaga’s “Americano” in the episode, while Darren Criss takes on Imagine Dragons’ “It’s Time” and the new version of New Directions performs Carly Rae Jepsen’s, “Call Me Maybe.”

The second episode of the fourth season is titled “Britney 2.0,” which (you guessed it) is the second Britney Spears-themed episode; the first one scored huge ratings for the show, and with Spears being in the news lately as a judge on X-Factor, it makes sense to cash in on that easy publicity. Naturally, such a theme means our favorite Cheerio, Brittany S. Pearce, will be taking center stage, singing the other Britney’s hit song “Gimme More.” Blaine (Darren Criss) and Artie (Kevin McHale) take on a Justin Bieber/Britney mashup of “Boyfriend” and “Boys,” and Rachel will sing “Oops!… I Did It Again.”

There are more songs in the episodes, but here are the embeds we got. Check out the season preview, then the music.
