It’s apparent that the homophobe who decided to harass Larry Lennox-Choate III and his husband Daniel Lennox-Choate, assumed that gay men can’t fight. Little did he know that both men were graduates of West Point military academy. Not only did Larry and Daniel meet at the military university, they were the first same-sex couple to get married at their alma mater in 2013.
The two men were shopping in downtown Manhattan on Sunday when a man they didn’t know started screaming anti-gay obscenities at him. The assailant then threw a punch at one of the two men, Daniel. The assault left Larry with no choice but to step in and defend his partner. According to the couple, the violent homophobe left the scene “covered in his own blood” after Larry “tossed him in the street like the coward loser he is.”
Luckily Daniel and Larry were okay, aside from Larry’s bruised punching arm and a bruised lip. This is what Larry had to say about the fight:
We refuse to be victims and are thankful we can defend ourselves, but are saddened by the fact that idiots like this guy might not pick two guys who went through Plebe Boxing next time.
Not much is known about the assailant who got his butt kicked. But one witness managed to snap a photo of him before he took off on his bike. If you know anything about this man, contact the police at the number below:
