Independence Day Cocktail Recipes: America the Blue-tiful

Sometimes you just want a fun, festive, fruity and frothy cocktail — especially during a holiday weekend. So, with that in mind, we went searching for some 4th of July cocktail recipes.

The big problem with those piña coladas, daiquiries and margaritas? They’re loaded with empty calories. Yes, we like how they make us happy, but if we’re going to consume a ton of calories we want it to be on yummy barbecue food, not just on the drink. Fortunately, that’s where Sparkling Ice beverages come in.

Sparkling Ice flavored sparkling waters combine naturally flavored sparkling mountain spring water, vitamins, antioxidants and natural fruit juices to offer a bold, lightly carbonated beverage. They have tons of flavors — from coconut pineapple and strawberry watermelon to their new sparkling lemonade flavors. And, when you get a mixologist involved, these zero-calorie beverages can also be used as cocktail mixers.

Thus, we bring you, America the Blue-tiful, a light, refreshing rum drink that will have you feeling cool and celebratory this Independence Day weekend.
