Journalist Skips the Small Talk, Gets Strangers to Reveal Their Amazing Life Stories

Kalina Silverman’s social experiment, Big Talk, proves that skipping the small, meaningless chatter and getting to the deep conversations lets us learn about and connect with someone’s life story like few other things can.

The multimedia journalist started approaching strangers on the street and jumped right to the big questions, starting with “What do you want to do before you die?”

Their responses to this and other questions are raw, vulnerable and beautiful.

Check out the video to see what happens when we stop with the small talk and get to the stuff that really matters.
