WATCH: Kids Mysteriously Dying in Small Town, Religious Sect Won’t Allow Doctors to Help

According to Fox News, kids are mysteriously dying in a small Idaho town where a faith healing church is prohibiting help from doctors. The church in question is The Followers of Christ, a congregation that believes God should be the ultimate healer, not human beings.

The following report explains the situation in detail:

CNN also investigated the issue further and found that the church’s members have died of complications associated with very minor medical complications. For example, one young boy died of an untreated urinary tract infection, a newborn baby girl only lived 20 minutes because her mother received no prenatal care, and a 2-year-old died of pneumonia.

The church’s leaders and congregants alike are of the opinion that the government should give them their religious freedom. Dan Sevy, a man who lost his 14-year-old son to an illness that could have been treated, told CNN “I would like to remind you this country was founded on religious freedom, and on freedom in general. Whenever you try to restrict any one person, then you’re chipping away at freedom. Yours and mine.”

The following is an interview with a doctor who has performed autopsies on some of the children who have died in connection with the church:

The situation is becoming so alarming that the government may step in. For a detailed investigation by CNN click here.
