According to the AP, school officials at a small school in Gustine, Texas forced their elementary students to drop their pants to find out who left feces in the gymnasium.
WFAA-TV reports that Maria Medina, a mother of one of the children, says that boys and girls were separated into different rooms to determine who was to blame for the incident.
“I was furious… I mean, I was furious,” Medina told WFAA-TV. “If you can’t do your job or don’t know what you’re doing. You need to be fired.”
School superintendent Ken Baugh says that he doesn’t condone the actions of school officials. However, earlier in the investigation Baugh allegedly explained that they only asked the children to partially pull down their pants.
Our only question on this matter remains — did they actually think they would be able to find evidence that would lead them to the mystery pooper? Something doesn’t bode right with this ridiculous invasion of personal rights.
Gustine has a population of about 460 people and sits 90 miles southwest of Dallas Fort Worth.
