It’s been a while since legendary dance diva Cher released a single for a new upcoming album. Sure, she had “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” on the Burlesque soundtrack, which got remixed and club play once it hit, but a whole album hasn’t been seen in years. Ten years, to be exact (not that we’re counting).
The first single is a dance track called “Woman’s World,” but it doesn’t sound like anything from Believe or Living Proof. The 66-year-old singer / actress released it on Thanksgiving. It’s co-written by Paul Oakenfold and Anthony Crawford, and will be officially released on iTunes November 26.
Don’t expect the new album to be a dance explosion. According to this tweet, it should have some ballads as well.
